DSF Blog Train Chinese Orient Minikit Freebie

I decided to join this month’s DFT Blog Train! Whew! That makes 2 blog trains in two days. I have my DST Blog Train HERE if you’re interested. Anyway, the theme is, ‘Chinese Orient’. You would think this would have been easier than it was considering I live in Hong Kong! But still, I had to get my thinking cap on for this one.

Included are three papers (lantern, love and simple black with lantern stripes) and the following elements: lantern, frame, love square (paper and plastic versions), “I Love You” and some stitching to go along with them.

DST Blog Train Solid Paper Pack Freebie

I decided to join this month’s DST Blog Train! (I’m also in the DSF Blog Train HERE with my mini kit, “Chinese Orient”). The theme is aptly called, ‘Bright Days Ahead’. I hope you like what I’ve created , a 7 solid paper pack. The papers are beautifully textured and should be a great complement to the other items on the blog train.

Originally I had planned on doing a mini kit, but life got in the way. And by life, I mean my computer died 3 times and then I was in India and was unable to do any work as planned as I had no access to wifi and so couldn’t get the colour swatch until I got back (and then my computer died again!) Ugh.

Anyway, I think a few basics are always good, so I hope you like the solids! Keep reading, there is another freebie!

I have a fantastic limited time freebie! This set of 7 journaling cards that coordinates with my full kit {Hope in the Rain} available HERE under the “Exclusives” tab. Just LIKE the GDS’ page and you can download a different freebie every week. They are FREE for a week (until 5 March 2013 – now expired – available in my store HERE) and will then go into my store at GDS. These cards are perfect for your Project Life, Project 365 etc. layouts as they are 3 x 4″ and make embellishing a breeze!

If you’re interested in the full kit kit, available in my store, here are the details! This kit is great as it gives you the chance to scrapbook the moments in your life that may not be the easiest. They may be challenging and require that light at the end of the tunnel to get you through. In a word, “Hope”. New Release {Hope in the Rain}

I just love this kit! Life is not always perfect and I think it’s SO important to document the good times as well as the not so good times. I do truly believe that even in the midst of the rain, when everything looks grey and you’re covered in clouds, there is still a ray of hope and if you hold on and be strong, then a rainbow will come and you’ll soon be taking a big deep breath of fresh, clean, crisp air! Hope realised!

My lastest kit, {Hope in the Rain} is going to release soon! It’s one of those kits that you can use to scrapbook good times as well as times in your life when hope was needed to get you through! It has 50 unique elements, 20 wordbits, 16 papers and an alpha. There will probably be a few extra add-ons as well but I’ll have to see if I have to get them done… as I’m literally leaving to go to the airport to fly to India after I finish this post, we’ll see how much I get done:)
