Months WordArt Freebie

Hi Everyone!

Here’s another quick freebie and then I’m off to Singapore for a week!

I love months! And there are just a couple fonts I adore and so I bought them. It dawned on me that not everyone can afford to buy them, so I bought a commercial license and made 12 WordArt files (.png) of the 12 months of the year and a brush file (.abr) for Photoshop/Photoshop Elements users! This is my all time favourite font to use when stamping the date on a layout! If I have time I’ll also do a set of years.

Anyway, here’s the preview. You can click on the preview or click below it to start the download. Btw, it’s a direct download – no fussy secondary sites. It took me ages to figure out how to do this! =)

As always, comments would be lovely and inspiring and motivating etc. etc., but no worries if you don’t have time!

Enjoy!

Bedtime

I loved this photoshoot with a friend of mine’s daughter! But by the end she had this look on her face that basically said, “I’ve had enough!!!”. So cute!

Laughter

I have never really enjoyed using templates – they always looked a little too childish for me. Since taking Cathy Zielske’s class, I have fallen in love with them and realize that you have to use great templates! Some templates are not very good quality and the result will not be very good unless you put some serious effort into making them look good. But if you start with a great template, you’ll find it much easier to get a good result!

Here is a layout I made with a template from Katie Pertiet. I love it!

Credits: I used a kit from Sir Scrapalot to ‘fill in’ the template. I think it was something about a ‘Cup of Tea’ kit? If you’re interested, drop me an email and I’ll find out the exact name. Love it!

No Title… seriously! =)

I love having titles on my pages – but several of my pages this month have been lacking this one important detail – but then again, I think it works! Sometimes the photos are all that are needed – I like to add a date, but there’s something in the simplicity of the photos that leaves me skipping the title! I probably won’t make it a habit, but it’s nice to skip now and then!

Here’s one of my title-less layouts! It’s using another kit from the fabulous Captivated Visions designer, Rachel! It’s called ‘Very Cherry’ and it’s lots of fun!

Here it is!

Laugh – Giggle – Smile – TERROR!

Loved the photos I took of Melinda’s daughter in my dad’s office last Sunday, shortly before going to the garden to take more photos of her! For the first time in my life, I have a photo of my dad smiling naturally!

Beautiful!

I love this layout! Infact, I’ve been holiding onto the photo for 2-3 years and have only now gotten around the scrapbooking it! I like how it came out! I used the latest kit from Captivated Visions – it’s a mega grab bag for Project 365! Wonderful stuff!

Thanks for looking!

Windy Guernsey

It was a windy summer day in Guernsey and so we went to the Cobo Tearooms for lunch. Can’t remember what it was that we ate, but quite possibly Guernsey Bean Jar and crab sandwiches with a pot of tea and maybe… hmm… coronation sandwiches for auntie sue?

Anyway, just a quick layout to remember a fun day!

Trinity

Here’s the first photo taken of Melinda’s daughter and me! I did this layout using a beautiful new kit from Captivated Visions called “Sweet as Mallow”. I have to say the papers from the kit are irresistible! (but then so are the elements and alpha!).

I couldn’t decide whether I liked the brown background or the pink background more!

Brown Background

You are so sweet!

Pink Background

You are so sweet! (in pink!)
